In the pursuit of cultural development and promotion of local art the conception of Lowbrow Art Productions seemed a fitting answer to a pair of local artists. With the primary goal being to bring local artwork and it's creators to the forefront in Orlando, the often over used quotation "if you build it they will come" became suddenly relevant. Expression through traditional, or your not-so-traditional art, tattoos, as well as handmade leather work became the focus. Summoning inspiration from Andy Warhol's infamous workspace "the Factory" in the 60's, Alex and Ben sought out to obtain a space for local artists to collaborate and create. This artist co-op, if you will, provides an environment that inspires thought and creativity with a centralized platform to promote from. Lowbrow operates as a Tattoo Parlor, Art Studio, and Leather Workshop embracing a renaissance thinktank feel. With the local art scene gasping for air Lowbrow aims to breathe life into the local art scene. Lowbrow's current staff possesses decades of artistic experience including almost 20 years of Tattoo experience and 30+ years of artistic expression. Fusing a motorcycle culture with an appreciation of fine arts results in what we call the "Lowbrow Art Movement" bringing you a new level of artistic sophistication.

In a time of fast cities, motionless minds and blank entertainment we find an uprising of talent that thrives from the delinquent creativity we all so
knowingly toss away but starve for. When this opportunity meets fine preparation, we find artists such as Lucky. Twisting, blending and inspiring
thought through his work, he creates ideas and promotes imagination within each piece… Only further generating a unique and original outlook within each
piece enticing you to dive deep into the cognitive mind. Lucky wheels a vivid imagination with each stroke
stretching the senses and opening the mind by rewarding them with loud images, blasting colors and untameable thought.
Alex loves painting in all mediums and styles and has been tattooing professionally since 1996, adorning the masses with his unique and finely tuned skill.
He is currently focusing on an edgier and sexier biker oriented style so keep an eye out for sneak peaks of his upcoming show.

Thomas Jacobson has dedicated his life to art. From a very early age living in the bay area of Northern California he spent his time learning from observation. A rocky childhood led to a series of learning curves and a lot of traveling. These experiences and challenges brought about a method of making. His approach to material is meditative. Self trained and driven by his desire to create with many different materials, his skills are varied and exceptional in many areas. Jacobson is not only a master tattoo artist but also possesses the ability to translate inspirations into oil, acrylic, metal, graphite, stone and clay that exemplify a high level of dedication to his craft. His work is often inspired by Celtic design from a love of intertwined and tangled knots, the criss cross action of the lines repeated infinitely serves as a guide and interconnection between the many aspects of his life. Jacobson’s paintings contain icons of his visual vocabulary including skulls brought to life with realistic eyes, flowers, knots, webs and scrolls.
Phelo is an accomplished painter and Graffiti artist that has been perfecting his craft for nearly 15 years, his transition to Tattooing was a natural one. His studying of handstyles and lettering translate well to the fine line work found in tattooing. He loves traditional imagery which is evident in his works, often adding a new school twist. As a family man he finds his inspiration from his wife and daughters, at home is where he cultivates these ideas and creative expressions. His mural work can be found throughout Orlando. He is a good fit and a welcomed addition to the Lowbrow family.
